If you adapt your base to the latest tech and TRY to defend you will start to win more often.Ĭomplaining in forums that it isn't possible is both incorrect and unhelpful. Have a look around, try to hit them, I assure you they are out there. There are some very strong bases out there that I promise most people can not crack. The rest of us mere mortals are certainly able to fail in bases with Longshots though.įor everyone, defending is difficult right now but not entirely impossible for the most part. You must be in the top tier meta of the game, congratulations on your achievements, you must be proud. I don't understand the mentality of hitting bases with a no lose situation. Not been visited so much as I'm a tad worthless except as alli points, meh, all good in the 'hood. Don't be shy to ask your vanquisher for a tip or two. People say that replays aren't accurate, I digress & say that I find them accurate enough. Layout helps, mines help, guard placement helps (sure, guards don't deal any damage atm, I get that, but it's their AURAS that matter) everything is VERY tactical at the moment. I had a visit last night as I slept soundly in my ships' cabin, & goodness me, I won. I worked my FM, skipped Bounty (as my base design was an f.u at the time) applied myself in Pillage, & worked hard in last raid with Swallowtails (made 25 mil)ĭuring that time, I screenshotted 2 bases I viewed in world comms that I liked the looks of, & painstakingly re-created one of the designs (it's really not that easy to do, btw) but not quite as well, but added a few tweaks instead that I thought suited (so it's not a carbon-copy of all the successful whales' bases lol) I took a 2-month break, came back just after the raid before last. ![]()
